Honest Place is a guesthouse on a unique location in Burgau, the Western Algarve.
We’ve let us inspire by nature to create our place on top of the Barrancão Hill, facing the shimmer of the Atlantic and looking over the rolling green valley of Boca do Rio.
All these elements make it the perfect place to escape, unwind and reconnect with what really matters.
This extraordinary and protected environment of the Costa Vincenta Natural Park makes our guesthouse a real haven of tranquility and a stunning place for your getaway.
Our exceptional villa with 6 bedrooms and en-suite bathroom is located on a quiet hillside between the picturesque villages of Burgau and Salema. And we saved the best for last: you’ll find yourself at 500 meters walking distance from the pristine beach of Cabanas Velhas.
A true paradise in one if the best preserved nature serves Europe has to offer.
At Honest Place we have a maximum capacity of 12 guests, because we like to keep things personal. All six rooms are located at the ground floor. We house 5 double bedrooms (that can be transformed to two single beds) and 1 smaller bedroom with a French bed.
The rooms all have an en-suite bathroom with soap and shampoo to your disposal. Each room has direct access to outdoor spaces and air conditioning for both hot or cold months.
At Honest Place, we aim high to enhance the connection to our beautiful surroundings and nature. The garden therefore has a solar panel, and the warm water is generated by panels on the roof. Please keep in mind it takes a few minutes before warm water will flow.
But at Honest Place, memories are made outdoors.
We created a space for you, our guest, to enjoy every moment of the day to your own rhythm.
You’ll have access to our shared living space to simply relax or share stories around the fireplace.
Our magnificent and inspiring garden is waiting for you and your bare feet. After a day full of adventures or surf sessions, you can enjoy a laid back moment in the garden. Or do you feel more like going for a refreshing dip in the salted non heated pool, overlooking the Atlantic? We would, because here you can enjoy magnificent views over the ocean and the coastline.

* We are not serving breakfast, but there is a fully equipped kitchenette for you to use.
* At honest place we require aminimum stay of 3 nights in Jan-March & Oct-Dec and 5 nights in April till September, so you’ll fully get the vibe.
* Check-in time is from 4:00 PM onwards, and check-out time is before 11:00 AM in the morning.
We kindly ask our guests to adhere to these designated times to ensure a smooth transition between guests and to allow our team enough time to prepare the accommodation for the next arrivals.
